Gmail — YOUR mailbox, not the assistant's
⚠️ They are two different mailboxes and the difference matters. The assistant
has one of its own (<name>@<domain>.cerase.email): whatever it sends from there
goes out in the assistant's name, with the signature declaring it is an AI. This
connector instead connects your personal Gmail mailbox: whatever goes out from
here leaves from your address, in your name, and whoever receives it sees you.
Connector dedicated to mail only (maximum confidentiality: no Drive/Calendar/Docs). The assistant can read, search, label and send from the mailbox you connect. Examples: "summarise today's unread mail", "reply to Laura confirming the meeting", "archive last week's newsletters". Every user connects their own mailbox.
If you do not want the assistant writing in your name, set it to read_only: it reads and summarises, and it uses its own mailbox to send.
